Apache Trail, Apache Junction, Arizona; admission fee is $15 per night to be paid at the gate, no pre- registrations or reservations are needed but space is limited (enough for around 60 trailers), water is available at the Ramada and new restrooms and showers are very close our group area, no electric for trailer hookup; guided hiking is available or just go on your own, pan for gold at the Gold Field Mine, eat at the Mining Camp Restaurant or go boating at Canyon Lake. Prepare your teardrops and vintage trailers and join us for our "tear off" kick off summer fun for a weekend in Southern California. There is a swimming pool, duck pond, showers, and plenty of shaded area. There will be a Pot Luck Dinner Saturday evening at 5:30 in the front club house. Camping fee is $33.00 per night, to be paid in advance with registration form. Each site has water and electricity. The campground does have some fire rings or you can bring your own. Twain & Tears II returns to the Moeha Walker Memorial Park, a small park on the grounds of a shack where Mark Twain lived while prospecting in the boomtown of Unionville, a tiny hamlet in Buena Vista Canyon, about 20 miles off I-80 between Lovelock and Winnemucca; camping is free, with water and porta-potty (no electricity or showers), and will be informal group family style (this is not a campground, but a community park that we have permission to use), limited to 15 trailers or 30 people; lots to see & do, or just kick back and rest & relax in this remote and quiet, quiet, quiet setting! Tour the Park's Logging Museum, walk the many trails, fish the Williamson River or Spring Creek, and/or take a ride on the Klamath & Western Scale Model Railroad just south of the Park on Saturday ( http://www.knwrr.org/index.html ). T.O.W.'s (Teardroppers of Oregon & Washington) Antique Powerland Teardrop Display and Campout at the 3rd Annual Antique Powerland Steamup; Teardroppers have been invited to display their trailers for spectators to view. In exchange, we get two free passes to Powerland to camp on the campus of the Northwest Vintage Car and Motorcycle Museum. 
Requirements are for all modern-era vehicles to park off the campus. Just teardrop shaped trailers/vehicles are going to be displayed. Vintage tow rigs can be parked next to their trailers. Those wishing to just display their trailers on Saturday get free admission as long as they arrive before 9:00 AM and stay until 3:00 in the afternoon. Our display is limited to only vintage designed teardrop trailers. Camping is considered “dry” with power for medical purposes only.
